How Innovation Trumps Everything Else In Social Media

The Story of Bloggywood Squares:

Innovation is the key to success – and wealth, fame and fortune. Feel free to plug in other nouns in the sequence.

Simply put, dare to take the road less traveled – and be willing to draw upon your internal infinite source of creativity – when it comes to winning with social media.

Case in example are Mike CJ and Nathan Hangen. They are doing a virtual game show starting today – Bloggywood Squares. (Yes, that is an affiliate link. I will get paid if you reach the site using that link. Here’s the non-affiliate link for Bloggywood Squares.)

Isn’t that a first time? Whatever the rules of the game show – and whatever the outcome, hats off to them for pulling off a totally unique, unheard of concept. Nathan did the Virtual Happy Hour on the Bootstrap Sessions a couple of weeks ago. As a concept, that was cool too – and certainly very innovative.

Scoring big, making an impact, getting attention – and CONNECTING becomes way easy when you can innovate in social media.

And no, you don’t have to kick yourself in the foot with the thoughts of “Damn! Why didn’t I think of that?”.

This is truly an unlimited field – you don’t need to compete. Pick up these gems of ideas and wisdom, call upon your muse, your creative genius and you’ll be amazed at the quality and quantity of innovative ideas you can come up with.

I can hardly wait to see what you cook up!

Thanks for the note, Mike. Hoping to make a mark with Social Media Notebook. More specifically, aiming at providing chunks of easily implementable tips and techniques that anyone can apply.

Good luck for the Beyond Blogging Project – it’s been an awesome resource and safety net for me.
